I received the reflector in perfect condition-great shipping. The reflector zipper is rough, I've ordered other brands and it's the same thing-Just have the patience to get it zipped while on a shoot or you'll probably break it-but otherwise very sturdy.

The size of this reflector is great!
The surfaces materials (gold and silver reflective material) seem to be well bonded and I don't see any signs of flaking off.
The collapsable wire frame seems strong and looks like it will withstand alot of use.
The zipper is the weakest link in the chain. The zipper likes to "catch" on the material and the wire frame. With that said, I think this is the case with all combonation reflectors. I have found after some practice that the zipper problem can be overcome.
***ZIPPER TIP***
When switching surfaces, don't try to zip the reflector in one quick motion. You can close the zipper almost half way before it starts to catch. So when nearing the middle of the zipping process, GENTLY pull the zipper away from the frame while pulling the front and back cover material up off the frame with your other hand**. close the zipper up to where your fingers are holding the front and back cover and then move up about a 1/4 way of the remaining opening and repeat the process of gently pulling on the zipper and cover material. The cover material is very "elastic" and can easily be lifted from the wire frame during the zipping process. It took some practice but now I can change my surfaces while talking to the client and it looks completely effortless.
**Pinch the front and back cover with your thumb and pointer finger while pushing the wire frame down and away from the zipper with your middle finger.

Bought this based on the brand name. Right out of the package, before even using it, the zipper broke. Decided to get beyond that and use it anyway at small outdoor shoot. Next defect I notice is the threading around the outer rim unraveling. Managed to fix that situation (for a short while anyway). Next problem- the case is so flimsy and cheap I expect it to last a few times at most.
The reflector otherwise works as expected. My first real use of a reflector convinced me that it's importance cannot be over stated. That being said, I am going to probably return this reflector for a replacement as its possible I was simply unlucky.

There really isn't much to say here. It reflects light just as it should. It packs up fairly small and the bag that it goes into has a loop that can easily be attached to a camera bag using just about any kind of clip. It is light weight, extremely portable, and well constructed. Worth every penny.
